LARRY RICHARDS is a CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER!
EVANGELIST LARRY RICHARDS was arrested in Georgia on 11/8/2010 and charged with ONE case of AGGRAVATED CHILD MOLESTATION, ONE charge of AGGRAVATED SEXUAL BATTERY, TWO charges of CHILD MOLESTATION, and ONE charge of ENTICING A CHILD FOR INDECENT PURPOSES. Two of these charges were from 2003, and three of the charges were from 2010, which seems to indicate that this was going on long-term. Court records indicate LARRY RICHARDS was released from community supervision in Georgia on June 15, 2023.

First, let me be clear: I do not want this ministry, but nobody else will do it, and that’s why the Holy Spirit led me here!
The primary issue here is the pain and abuse inflicted upon the innocent, especially when it’s being done by someone claiming to serve God, but secondarily, the shameful light this situation is casting upon the church! Is it any wonder so many are walking away from the church and God after things like this are exposed? What’s the answer, to sweep it under the rug and act like it isn’t happening? Or follow the biblical mandate to EXPOSE and REBUKE these workers of darkness publicly for all to see in order to protect others, then have no more fellowship with them? The latter would at least give the church a little semblance of integrity if people, and especially our leaders, would just do it.

How did we get here?
I am personally aware that he has been preaching revivals in Wayne County since at least June of 2024 and possibly earlier. He has also been preaching at Kingdom Inheritance Ministries in Huntington, WV, since at least October 2024. Wouldn’t any competent leader, which Dennis Romans is not, examine the history of those who they allow to preach to or teach their congregation, especially when it’s for nearly two weeks straight? Larry Richards is a self-proclaimed “prophet” that’s been feeding these leaders what they want to hear, and they took it, hook, line, and sinker! He has also very likely been staying with unsuspecting church members over this period, so some investigative work should be done to see exactly where he has been. His charges were spread out over nearly 8 years, so he was very possibly committing these acts prior to being caught and may even continue to do so if given the opportunity. I believe God may have just sent him to Dennis Romans to give him the words he wanted to hear and so he’d also be here for this. God definitely sent me there a few weeks prior to Larry arriving, and many signs accompanied my arrival that even convinced Dennis.
I was really hoping this ministry (Reproached) was all behind me, but Sunday evening Holy Spirit started nudging me to look closer at Evangelist Larry Richards. I’d really not given much thought to the man since leaving Dennis Romans’ church, as my focus was on exposing Dennis for his evil deeds. But I heeded that nudge and went to Google but didn’t find much until Holy Spirit said “sexual abuse,” and those words, with his name as the search terms in Google, brought us to this place. A leading of the Spirit of God is how we got here today.
I knew Holy Spirit had led me to put the reproached website (database) together, but it seemed like it was useless for dealing with Dennis Romans, as few people even went to it. Now I see that it was intended to be here more so for Larry Richards than Dennis Romans. Larry, and others like him, need to be tracked, and this website can do that. Every church on the east coast also needs to be made aware of him as he travels. We also need to figure out where he has been to make sure there are no other victims. He’s actively looking for open doors up and down the east coast to preach, and for some to just turn a blind eye to this fact, as so many have done with regard to the complaints against Dennis Romans, is just wrong. We must try to prevent him from finding more unsuspecting victims! When we know to do good, but we don’t, we miss the mark (sin).
The Backstory
When I first met Larry at the revival, something just felt off, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and just watched from a distance. As the revival went on, he became aware that I had suspicions, so he preached about God striking two people dead for even questioning him. In my opinion that immediately made him a false prophet, and it threw some major red flags for myself and others, but Dennis Romans just went along with it and took no issue with his statements. Another person attending the revival who operates heavily in the discerning of spirits said he saw Larry go into a demonic manifestation where his face contorted. This person told Dennis what he had seen, and Dennis said that he saw it as well, but he still allowed Larry to continue preaching many more services until that revival ended, and more since then.
Larry has spoken many “prophetic” words over Dennis, and Dennis just eats it up. During the revival, Larry gave Dennis Romans the “prophetic words” he wanted to hear. I didn’t actually hear it myself, but apparently he told him how great he was and that he was a fivefold minister that would have a huge ministry. Apparently this was before I told Dennis that nobody could effectively walk in all five ministry gifts, and if he didn’t get it right, God would put him on a hamster wheel until he did. That is one of the reasons Dennis rebuked me from the pulpit. I was also told by a credible person that he was seen handing Larry a huge wad of cash after the revival, so he basically paid for the “prophetic” words Larry gave him.
Now I must ask, where is the discernment in those who have blindly played church with this man over the past year? Are any of them even vaguely qualified to be leading God’s people? Does the Spirit of God truly even abide in them? Do they not all claim to be Spirit-filled and hear God’s voice? If so, why did the Holy Spirit not warn them (discernment)? Can they be trusted with the sacred commission of leading God’s people? Could they be kindred spirits with this man or of a similar kind? Are they all blinded by their own selfish ambition and vain conceit? Do the scriptures not say to know them that labor among you, yet they blindly welcome a wolf in without even a hint of examination?
It was through a leading of God’s Spirit that I arrived here to expose all of this!
This should be a sobering reminder as to why it is so important to choose leaders that walk in wisdom and live a life that is above reproach, rather than compromised leaders who serve their own interests and will do so at the expense of others. While I will concede that none of these “leaders” knew Larry Richards was a convicted pedophile, but they failed miserably in the areas of discernment and judgment. Again I must ask, WHY DIDN’T THE HOLY SPIRIT WARN THEM? CAN THEY EVEN HEAR HIM? DO THEY EVEN KNOW HIM?
All of these leaders/preachers also failed to JUDGE A RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT as commanded by scripture with regard to the verifiable spiritual abuse complaints against Dennis Romans. I’m certain that the Holy Spirit has been leading me in the way I’ve dealt with and handled this entire situation. God wants all of their compromised ways and actions exposed for all to see. Just remember, Dennis Romans and these other two leaders brought this man into our area and gave him a platform for weeks on end. So now the question should be asked, where was he staying, and who was he staying with?
ALL OF THESE MEN ARE AT LEAST PARTLY RESPONSIBLE IF ANY VICTIMS COME FORWARD IN OUR AREA WITH CHARGES AGAINST LARRY AS WELL AS BRINGING THIS PUBLIC SHAME UPON THE ENTIRE CHURCH!
Now I need your help! I said I’d never do what I’m about to do right now, but I have no choice. At this point I have at least 300 hours tied up building this site (which the Holy Spirit led me to do) and dealing with this mess. Unlike most websites that are free to build and run, the Reproached website is not. Due to software running in the background, it costs a minimum of $800 a year just to keep it in place. It’s also very complex, far from complete, and will probably take another year to finish building the entire ministry. I’ve footed the bill for all of this with my time and credit card, so please support this mission to bring accountability within the church! People support all sorts of faith-based initiatives, but it seems like anything to do with accountability and people want nothing to do with it. People don’t even want to share it on social media, so our only other option is paid marketing.
I assure you, I’m NOT in this to make money, but the bills and expenses MUST be paid! I’ll also assure you that every dime will be accounted for and spent wisely! The books will be open, and everything will be done with complete transparency. I’ll also say that if I can’t even recover what it’s already cost me and to cover basic needs, this ministry will likely go no further!
I’ve often heard it said that where God guides, He provides, and I agree, but some people use that as a cop out to avoid giving. What some seem to miss is that God ALWAYS uses people like you to fund His projects! The scriptures tell us to give out of the abundance of our hearts (out of love), but Jesus also said the love of many would grow cold. So what is the condition of your heart? How about towards this man’s past and future victims? I’m asking you to get on board and support this endeavor with whatever you can afford! It is our duty to protect the flock when and wherever possible!

This cost is peanuts when you consider how many people claim to be Christian in the US alone! If you go read our mission statement, you’ll see my intent is to get this ministry fully functional and hand it off to a committee made up of followers of Jesus from across the nation. At that point I’ll step away if at all possible and let others manage it.
The intent of this ministry is NOT to focus on any sort of doctrinal differences. It is solely here to expose leaders who are guilty of verifiable gross moral failure and spiritual abuse!
One thing I will ask of the leaders who read this post. I ask you to stand up and speak out about these leaders who are bringing reproach upon the name of Christ! Most leaders in this area know Dennis Romans history, and some of you are in full agreement with the statements I’ve made about him. Please speak up before he harms more people! He’s unfit to serve in any leadership role, and while we cannot stop him, we can at least make sure he doesn’t gain any traction! I’ll likely also be seeking support from prominent leaders who are already speaking out about these issues. Leaders such as Mike Winger, Wanda Alger, and any others who will listen. Huntington, WV, may just end up in the national spotlight because of Dennis and his comrades!
Something that needs to be said
People often fail to realize the long-term psychological damage that being sexually abused as a child can inflict. Some suffer from the trauma for years, while others suffer for a lifetime and never truly recover. It is often the reason many turn to drugs and alcohol, trying to numb the pain and drown the memories out. To be a victim of such things is bad enough, but at the hands of someone hiding behind God and claiming to serve Christ. This makes Larry the worst of the worst in my opinion!
Larry had two different offenses/charges spread out over nearly eight years! This makes me wonder just how many more victims there are! If you or someone you know has been a victim of this man, I ask you to reach out to your local authorities and find someone to talk to. I assure you that this man is not serving God, and there truly is nothing for you to be ashamed about!

Larry Richards truly is a minister of darkness transformed into a minister of light! It’s no wonder he and Dennis Romans hit it off so well!
